The Film Festival on Rathausplatz fills the square in front of Vienna's city hall each summer. The organiser lists the 37th edition for 3 July to 5 September 2027, with entry free of charge.
The organiser describes the site as an open-air living room with food from around the world alongside the screenings, and says it has drawn hundreds of thousands of visitors a year over its 37 years.
