The market is held in the World Heritage Old Town with wooden huts, handcrafted goods and regional food. It occupies the Dom- and Residenzplatz and parts of the Kapitelplatz.
Opening hours vary by day: Monday to Thursday 10:00 to 20:30, Friday 10:00 to 21:00, Saturday 09:00 to 21:00 and Sunday 09:00 to 20:30. It closes at 15:00 on 24 December.
